PHIRE Box is a device used to test the addressable switches in a gun assembly prior to running the tool downhole. The device is enclosed in a dust proof, crush proof, waterproof case and has a simple, two-button design with an analog gauge on output for independent voltage verification. The software is field upgradable using the USB port and includes wireless link for remote control, seven independent levels of safety and advanced wireless interaction with iOS app. The PHIRE Box can be used to test PHIRE Stick, PHIRE Igniter, stand alone PHIRE Addressable Switch, and PHIRE Escape release tool. The PHIRE Box is equipped with a black-box recorder that records commands, actuation time and max temperature.
